Feral and Community Cats
Feline Wellness Center is feral friendly!
Dr. Spencer has a soft spot for these kitties and performed thousands of TNR surgeries.
We do ask that for our safety, all cats being treated as such are brought in a trap. The trap should have a newspaper liner and a sheet covering it for the comfort of the kitty inside. Feral cats may be brought in same day, we ask that you call ahead to let us know you are coming.
Feline leukemia and FIV testing is not required, but is available at an additional cost. Other available treatments include wound repair, antibiotic injections, ear mite treatment and dentristy.
Please note we are not a low cost facility that can provide care for large numbers of feral/community cats. We recognize that some of our dedicated cat owners also care for outdoor/community cats in their neighborhoods, and that sometimes these cats need our help.
We are happy to provide you with information for clinics that do provide low cost spay/neuter and veterinary services upon request.
