Dr. (Bowyer) Spencer is a 1996 honor graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Cats have always held a special place in her home and heart, starting with her first kitty, Silas, a beautiful Burmese. Over the years she has shared her home with many cats and has devoted much of her career finding ways to help keep cats healthy into their golden years.
She understands that for most of us, cats are not just pets - they are an integral part of our families. Her most recent focus has been on providing the best quality life possible to senior cats. She has completed the CCRP (Certified Canine Rehab Practitioner) and CAPM (Companion Animal Pain Management) programs, providing specific training in rehabilitation/physiotherapy and pain management for companion animals. She is also a certified MAV (Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians) practitioner and is in the final stages of completing Animal Hospice & Palliative Care Certification.
